Spendsmart
Mobile expense tracker – Case study
Many households struggle with overspending and lack a clear system to monitor expenses, often leading to stress and poor financial decisions. SpendSmart is a mobile budgeting app I designed to make tracking spending effortless and intuitive.
The app allows users to categorize expenses, set financial goals, and
monitor progress with ease. It also supports spending limits, recurring expenses, and receipt attachments to give users a clearer picture of their financial habits.
I carried out this project independently, focusing on user research and UI/UX design. I also reached out to peers for feedback to refine the final result and grow as a designer.
Pizza Basement
Pizzeria website – Case study
Many small restaurants still rely on outdated websites that confuse users and fail to communicate basic info like delivery options or opening hours.
The new design features a clean menu layout, prominent contact details and clear calls to action, and a warm, welcoming visual style suited for a wide range of visitors. Navigation was improved to make key information such as opening times, delivery services, and location easy to find.
This project was completed independently, with peer feedback guiding refinements to enhance clarity, visual appeal, and user experience.

Built and hosted via GitHub Pages for BBA students. I handled both design and development solo, aiming for a clean, professional look.

A mobile app concept for sharing berry and mushroom picking spots. I was solely responsible for the UI design, while the UX was developed together as a team.

Pokedex Randomizer
2021 – Personal project

- Using the Fetch API to retrieve and display data from an external API.
- Building responsive web interfaces with Bootstrap.
- Integrating third-party APIs into a frontend application.
PhoneBok
2021 – Personal project

A simple, responsive phonebook application built to practice and improve core front-end skills including table manipulation and layout styling.
✨ What I learned:
- How to use and style tables, and hide scrollbars
- Practical understanding of position: absolute and position: relative
- Using JavaScript dictionaries effectively
- Realized that objects would have been the optimal solution for this project
- Learned that using phone numbers as keys instead of values (or using objects) would prevent duplicate name issues
Palindrome Checker
2021 – Personal project

A responsive web app that checks if a word or phrase is a palindrome. The goal was to practice front-end skills and create a fullscreen userfriendly interface.
✨ What I learned:
- How to create fullscreen layouts using: min-height: 100vh
- Practical use of input and textarea elements
- Applying media queries to make websites responsive
